Technical Projects

Here’s where things get nerdy (in the best way). I built my own search engine from scratch and coded a Connect 4 game with a rough-around-the-edges AI. These projects show what happens when curiosity meets code.

Search Engine

A fully functional search engine built from scratch using Python. It crawls web pages, indexes content, and ranks results using basic relevance algorithms. This project challenged me to think critically about data structures, information retrieval, and backend logic; all while building a usable tool from the ground up.

Connect 4 with AI Player

A digital version of Connect 4 built with Python and a basic AI opponent. The AI uses a simple heuristic to block and win moves, introducing strategic gameplay without complex algorithms. This project sharpened my skills in game logic, user interaction, and implementing decision-making with code.

Visual Design

These visual designs demonstrate my ability to communicate ideas through thoughtful layout, hierarchy, and aesthetics. Each project emphasizes user clarity while maintaining a polished visual style.

Project 1

Multimedia & Animation

Not everything I make sits still. These animations and multimedia pieces are where I let design move, breathe, and play. Whether it’s motion graphics or interactive visuals, each project explores a different layer of how users experience motion.

Culture Food Wars Signage

A motion signage video designed for a fictional cultural food festival, blending vibrant visuals and bold typography to showcase global cuisines in a dynamic format. Created in Adobe After Effects with assets crafted in Photoshop and Illustrator, the animation is rhythmically synced to an energetic soundtrack to enhance visual engagement.

Where I Came From

A nostalgic nod to the early days of my journey; rough edges, clunky layouts, and all. These early web projects may be simple, but they highlight my growth from curious tinkerer to thoughtful designer and developer. Every awkward navbar and off-center div helped shape the skills I have today.

Recipe

A clean, responsive recipe website built to adapt beautifully across devices. This project was a hands-on way to explore flexible layouts, scalable typography, and mobile-first design. All while serving up some tasty UI elements.

First Portfolio

My very first portfolio website. A humble beginning that combined basic HTML, inline styles, and lots of experimentation. While rough around the edges, it was the launchpad for everything that came after, helping me explore layout, structure, and the confidence to improve.
